Mass of Christian Burial: Will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the all Saints Catholic Church in Stuart. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Father Antony Mathew will officiate the service. The Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements.

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the All Saints Catholic Church from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Prayer Service: There will be a Prayer Service on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the All Saint Catholic Church in Stuart. 

Memorials: May be directed to the Cancer Center of the families choosing.

Patricia Ann Craig was born September 18, 1951, in Harvey, North Dakota, the daughter of Theodore and Theresia Veronica (Gange) Heer. She passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at her home in Rural Menlo, Iowa, at the age of 70.

Patti grew up in the Denver, Colorado area and graduated from Ranum High School in Adams County, Colorado in 1970. After high school she worked for Samsonite for several years.

On June 6, 1982, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Craig in Denver, Colorado. They moved to Iowa in 1989. She worked for EMC Insurance Company in Des Moines as a life insurance claim specialist, retiring in the fall of 2013. Patti enjoyed reading, doing needle point, spending time with Max, camping, fishing and loved car rides.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David in infancy; and sister, Melinda Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Craig of Menlo; daughter, Michelle Griffith and husband Dean II of Bridgewater; two grandchildren, Beth Smith and Hunter Smith; one great grandson, Connor Smith; three brothers, Darrell Heer and wife Debbie of Arvada, Colorado, Terry Heer and wife Lynda of Westminster, Colorado and Daniel Heer and wife Lyn of Thornton, Colorado; other relatives and friends.
