Charlotte Acker, 69, of Des Moines (formerly of Greenfield)

Celebration of Life Services: Will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Everyone can wear jeans to the service as Charlotte would have wanted you to. The service will be livestreamed on YouTube.com/GreenfieldIowaUMC. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Private family burial will be in the South Oak Grove Cemetery in Stuart at a later date. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.

Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Charlotte Acker Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Charlotte Faye Acker was born on May 4, 1956, the daughter of Kenneth Calvin and Vivian Louise (Baker) Morgan in Audubon, Iowa. She passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic, Iowa, at the age of 69.

Charlotte (Charlie) grew up in Audubon and then attended school in the Panora-Linden schools. On May 12, 1973, she was united in marriage to Bob Christensen in Stuart, Iowa and they later divorced. She worked as a CNA at various nursing homes in the area and as a bartender in Madrid. On September 24, 1994, she married Dale Acker in Greenfield, Iowa and they later divorced. She enjoyed music, drawing, socializing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Flores; son, Shawn Christensen; grandson, Devon Ernst; and brother, Jerry Morgan.

She is survived by her daughter, Billie Ernst of Adair; son, Daniel Christensen; seven grandchildren, Cody Simkins, Cassie Simkins, Christian Steffen, Keilah Stephenson, Brad Patterson (friend Jhanelle), Mariah Ernst and Cadence Christensen; five great grandchildren, Noelle, Jack, Adonis, Autumn and Azaiah; brother, Terry Morgan (Deanna) of Des Moines; sister, Donna Coe of Stuart; sister-in-law, Vicki Morgan; and many other relatives and friends.
