Charlotte Frisbie, 78, of Greenfield

Funeral Services: Will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial in the South Oak Grove Cemetery in Stuart. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Pastor Tim Maxa will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Open Visitation: Will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.

Memorials: May be made to the Charlotte Frisbie Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Charlotte Kristine Frisbie was born on December 14, 1947, the daughter of Pete Charles and Doris Margaret (Kirk) Fleming in Menlo, Iowa. She passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Greenfield, Iowa, at the age of 78.

Charlotte graduated from Menlo and lived most of her life in Adair County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Gary Frisbie and to this union three children were born: Kevin, Kris and Katy. They later divorced.

Charlotte worked for Bankers Life in Des Moines, was a waitress, homemaker before retiring from Matura in 2015. She enjoyed antiquing, shopping, Elvis, soap opera’s, music and being with her family and especially loved her great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Juanita O’Brien, and nephew, Doug O’Brien.

She is survived by her three children, Kevin Frisbie and wife Brenda of Fontanelle, Kris Frisbie and wife Mel of Mt. Pleasant and Katy Frisbie of Greenfield; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; a niece Michelle Coe husband Kevin of Stuart other relatives and friends.
