Delbert Hagen, 84, of Cumberland

Funeral Services: Will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Massena with burial following the Newlons Grove Cemetery, rural Cumberland.  Pastor Karen Patrick will officiate the service.  The Lamb Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Visitation:  Friends may call at the Lamb Funeral Home in Massena on Monday, March 6^th, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorials:  To the Delbert Hagen Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Delbert Dean Hagen was born August 1, 1938, the son of Bert and Ester (Duff) Hagen south of Cumberland, Iowa.  He passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Walnut, Iowa, at the age of 84.

Delbert attended country school south of Cumberland.  He lived on the family farm until 1959 when he moved into Cumberland.  He owned and operated Hagen Garage in Cumberland.  He enjoyed camping, country westerns, and music-especially bluegrass.  He owned his own airplane and loved flying around in it.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his cousins, Nadine Howell of Atlantic, Jean Kunert of Spencer, Al Hallcoch of Branson, Missouri, Stephanie Chandler (Ken) of Georgia, Charles Reed of New Mexixo and Helen Crawley of Colorado; other relatives and friends.
