Funeral Services: Will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery. Dr. Tim Piearson will officiate the service. A luncheon will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle following the burial. The Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle is in charge of the professional arrangements. Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Delores Eileen (Huff) Havens was born February 19, 1935 to William Isaac and Rosalie (Lundy) Huff. Delores passed away May 20, 2024 in her home.
Delores attended country school. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1953. Delores was a cheerleader and played in the marching band.
Following high school Delores attended college and graduated with a degree as a radiology technician. The majority of her career was at Adair County Memorial Hospital for 52 years retiring in 2010. Following retirement, the hospital honored her by naming the building for Senior Life Solutions “The Havens” building.
Delores was the Adair County Fair secretary for many years and continued to volunteer and plan for the fair until her death.
Delores loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and supported all of them by attending their music programs, dance recitals, and sporting events.
Delores loved to farm, care for livestock, planting and harvesting crops. She also loved gardening and was proud of her flower garden.
Surviving children are Tonna (Bob) Twombly, Greenfield, Chris (Bev) Havens, Lake Geneva, WI, daughter-in-law Zoe Ann Havens, Jefferson; grandchildren Tiffany (Jeff) Johnson, Michelle (Chad) Ruzicka, Bo (Roxie) Havens, Jessica Havens, Kady (Justin) Mickael, Dylan (Ashley) Havens, Maggie Havens, Sophia (Will) Havens; Brianna (Brooklynn) Havens and Kirsten (Eli) Havens; 10 great-grandchildren - Mason, Kalvin, and Stella Johnson, Elsie Mickael, Neil and Eli Snyder, Hallie Havens, Emma, Gage, and Ryder Havens and sister-in-law Janet Holliday.
Delores put family first with all the nieces and nephews and their families who continued to gather for special occasions and holidays. She also enjoyed Friday evenings with friends.
Preceded in death are her parents William and Rosalie Huff; parents-in-law Audra John and Harriet Havens; husband John Allen Havens; son Scott Havens, grandson Shawn Twombly; siblings Bill (Norma) Huff, Vi (Claire) Williamson and Mary (John) Eason.
