Donna Rilling, 76, of Center Point, Iowa

Family Visitation:  The family will greet friends from 9 A.M to 11 A.M on Saturday June 14th preceding the funeral service at Anchor Bible Church.

Funeral service: Will be held 11 A.M. Saturday June 14th 2025 at Anchor Bible Church in Center Point Iowa. Burial will be at Victoria Cemetery near Massena Iowa the following day.

Luncheon: Lunch will be served after the service.

Graveside Services: Will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Victoria Township Cemetery, south of Massena. The Lamb Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the local arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Memorials:  Will be designated to a variety of Christian organizations designated by Donna. In lieu of plants or florals, please consider donating to your local church or hospice center.

Donna was fearless and independent throughout her entire life and lived a life full of adventure and too-good-to-be-true stories. Donna was an avid baker and often shared her affection for others by sharing her baked goods as well as her poems and writings. She spent endless hours in her gardens and processed and canned fruits, vegetables and meats to feed her loved ones with. From managing restaurants to restoring furniture, sewing, and home restorations, Donna was never idle and loved to create and restore that which was damaged or broken in order to make it beautiful again.

She lived as a farmer for much of her life, growing up on farms in southwest Iowa and while married to Donald Angus on a farm near Emerson, Iowa.

April 12, 1997 Eugene Rilling and Donna were married and made their home in Tama, Iowa before moving to Center Point in 2011. Together they ran a professional lawn care service, travelled around the US, and built a beautiful home, garden and orchard together. Donna very much enjoyed attending Achor Bible Church and loved both the knowledge and friendships grown through her bible study group, The Amazing Grays. Donna was a mom to four children, and a grandma and great grandma who loved to sneak treats, tell stories and tease endlessly with her goofy sense of humor.

Donna is survived by her husband Eugene Rilling of Center Point Iowa, son Jon Angus, wife Becky and grandson Brock of Union Star MO, daughter Mindi Baxter, husband Rod and granddaughter Aila of Harlan IA, son Zac Angus, wife Sara and granddaughters Stella and Violet of Des Moines, IA and son Josh, wife Jenny and grandchildren Taylyn, Keygan and Langston of Nevada, IA granddaughter Navi (Baxter), husband Brayden and great grandsons Sutton and Sawyer of Persia, IA and granddaughter Nadia (Baxter), husband Nick Petersen of Jacksonville, IA.

Sister Dorothy and husband Max Goodvin of Council Bluffs, IA, sister Linda and husband Ken Tjepkes of Dike, IA and brother Bill and wife Cindy Swain of Lyman, IA. Brother-in-law Ken Rilling of Fort Atkinson, IA, sister-in-law Eileen and husband Steve Hageman and family of Solon, IA and sister-in-law Kathy Pavon of Indianapolis, IN.

Donna’s greatest wish in life was for those around her to find a true love in Jesus Christ.
