Howard Hoover passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle. 

Private Family Services Will Be Held At A Later Date. The Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle is in charge of the professional arrangements.  

Memorials: To the Howard Hoover memorial fund to be established by the family. 

Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Claudia Stutzman of Fontanelle; son, Chad Hoover and wife Melissa of West Union, Iowa; step children, Chad Stutzman and wife Jenn of Altoona, Shawn Stutzman and wife Heather of Staplehurst, Nebraska, Luke Stutzman of Waukee and Chance Stutzman of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Abby, Bella and Izzy; six step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; two sisters, Julie Vance of Des Moines and Deborah Vaughn of Tennessee; other relatives and friends.
