Karen Cass, 86, of Fontanelle

Karen Cass passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral Services: Will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle with burial following in the Fontanelle Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home following the burial. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. Open Visitation: Will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Friday, May 26, 2026, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Memorials: To the Karen Cass Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Dean Cass of Fontanelle; daughter, Cynthia Burg (Steven) of Murray, Nebraska; two sons, Mikeal Cass (Tamela) of Atlantic and Patrick Cass (Andrea) of Fontanelle; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, David Frank (Linda) of Yuma, Colorado and Dennis Frank (Debbie) of Fontanelle; sister, Kayleen Whittlesey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister-in-law, Betty Weinheimer of Fontanelle; other relatives and friends.
