Celebration of Life Visitation: The family will greet friends on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Steen Funeral Home in Massena from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Victoria Township Cemetery, south of Massena.  The Steen Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the professional arrangements. 

Memorials: May be directed to the Marjorie Bell memorial fund to be established by the family. 

Marjorie Kay Bell, daughter of Robert and Amy (Holaday) Shaver, was born on March 4, 1938 in Atlantic, IA. She passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic, Iowa, at the age of 83.

Marjorie was a member of the Massena Methodist Pine Grove Church and lived around Cumberland most of her life until moving to Atlantic with her sister in 1988.

Her grandchildren were very important to her and she love her children dearly. She loved Mother Nature, clouds, sunsets, her friends, movies, music, and taking pictures. Growing up, she always wanted to be a singer.

Marjorie married Larry Edwards on July 6, 1958. From this marriage, there were 5 children Peggy, Pamela, Lonnie, Mark, and Patty. On December 13, 1987, she married Thomas Bell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Thomas, brother Lyle, sister Virginia, and infant son Lonnie.

She is survived by her children Peggy Fowler of Pasadena, TX, Pamela (Kal) Meier of LaPorte, TX, Mark Edwards of Anita, IA and Patty (Jon) Meyer of Atlantic.Sister Arlene Shaver of Atlantic. Grandchildren Savanna (Kerry) Pixler, PJ Reyes, Stephanie West, Rachel (Willie) Vogl, Tina (Joe) Gomez, and Rachel (Willie) Vogl, Patrick McCann and Sinead (Michael) Nolan. Great grandchildren Payton, Colton, Aden, Gavin, Addyson, Nevaeh, Zayne, Zeke, Scarlett, Kaci, David, Sadie, Wyatt, Gracen and Jackson.
