Richard Hoepker, 64, of Orient

Graveside Services:  Will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Greenfield Cemetery in Greenfield, Iowa.  Pastor Steven Broers will officiate the service.  The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

There will be no public visitation.

Memorials: May be directed to the Richard Hoepker Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

   Richard Robert Hoepker was born April 8, 1958 in Creston, Iowa.  He was the son of Orville and Fern (Miller) Hoepker. 

   Richard graduated from Orient-Macksburg School in Orient, Iowa. Following graduation, he started farming with his father and that became his life-long vocation.  He especially enjoyed his cattle and took pride in having some of them be his large pets around the barnyard.

   He was preceded in death by his parents.

   He is survived by his sisters Jane Miller of Duluth, MN and Suzy Betz of Marquette, MI; a niece, Elizabeth (Edward) Manson and a nephew, Jon (Jessica) Betz and two great-nieces, Elin and Wilhelmina Betz, all from Marquette.

   Richard’s family wishes to express their gratitude for all the acts of kindness shown at this time. A special thank you to Dan and Molly Kilborn for their generous support the past few months.
