Funeral Services: Will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield. Pastor Andrew Hanna of the Cornerstone Fellowship in Greenfield will officiate the service. There will be a luncheon at the Fontanelle Community Building following the services. 

Visitation: The family will greet friends on Sunday, May 1st, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield. 

Memorials: To the Tina Long memorial fund to be established by the family. 

Tina Eileen Long was born on October 25, 1964, the daughter of Orval and Katie (Gaa) Auten in Maryville, Missouri. She passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at the Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, Iowa, at the age of 51.

Tina grew up and was raised in Earlham, Guthrie Center and Audubon. In 1986, she moved to the Pocahontas area and then to the Winterset in 1993. On April 29, 1994, she was united in marriage to Dan Long in Adel, Iowa. To this union one daughter was born Breanna. They made their home in Greenfield in 2003 and then moved to Fontanelle in 2011. She had worked for Ferrara Candy in Creston, Iowa. She enjoyed shopping with her daughter, camping, working, taking care of family and spending all free time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Auten.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Long and daughter Breanna of Fontanelle; daughter, JoAnna Naig of Fort Dodge; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Orval and Stephanie Auten of Creston, Harold and Shelli Auten of Villisca, Julie and Roy Foley of Winterset, Roger and Janet Auten of Creston, Lisa and Scott Kyle of Winterset and Donna and Tax McFarland of Winterset; other relatives and friends.
