Ty Alan Brown was born September 2, 1991, in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Bret and Debra (Anstey) Brown. He passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at his home at the age of 29.

Ty grew up on a farm in rural Adair County and graduated from Nodaway Valley High School in 2009. He went on to play baseball in college at Simpson College in Indianola and Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. After college he worked for various manufacturing companies. Ty enjoyed sports of all kinds and his first love was baseball. He especially enjoyed spending time with his brothers.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marv Brown and grandmother, Ruby Anstey.

He is survived by his parents, Bret and Deb Brown of rural Anita; five brothers, Jerod (Mary) Brown of State Center, Iowa, Heath (Alice) Brown of Weirton, West Virginia, Nick Brown (fiancée Jaclyn Repplinger) of Granger, Iowa, Beau (Jessi) Brown of Plattsburg, Missouri and Tanner Brown (fiancée Ana Jackson) of Garner, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Cailyn, Colby, Maisie, Louella Brown, William Brown and Hudson Behr; grandmother, Carole Brown of Fontanelle; grandfather, Charles Anstey of Massena; other relatives and friends.
